Live Mockup · $300/hour
Watch your idea become
a working prototype, live.
In a focused Zoom session, we sit down together and build a real, clickable version of your idea, live. We take what’s in your head, or what’s in your team’s, and turn it into something you can click, react to, and refine on the spot. We use tools like Claude Code to get there fast.
And it does not have to be a whole application. It might be a website, a mobile app, a single screen, or one process. It could be the entire product or just one piece of it. It can even be an integration with no interface at all, where the point is pulling information in or pushing it out through an API. If you can describe it, we can build a version of it live.
This is about speed and clarity, not production code. What we build won’t be secure, scalable, bug-free, or complete. That’s the point. We make the idea tangible so you can make better decisions, faster.
Why teams do this
Reasons to build it live.
Test a concept before you invest
See if the idea holds up before you commit budget or a roadmap slot.
Feel a different UX
Put two versions of the same flow side by side and pick the one that actually feels right.
Give developers something concrete to build from
Instead of a vague doc, they get a working reference plus notes in language they can act on.
Get your team on the same page
Stop describing the vision in words. Point at the thing everyone can see.
Pitch stakeholders or investors
Walk into the room with a live demo instead of a slide deck.
Validate a single feature
Prototype the one risky interaction before it derails the sprint.
Scope an integration fast
See roughly what it takes to wire two systems together.
Break a decision deadlock
Stop arguing in the abstract. Build it, look at it, decide.
Why work with us
Everyone has Claude Code now. That is not the hard part.
Getting the tools is easy. Knowing what to ask is not. A mockup is only useful later if it captured the right decisions while you were in the room, and that is where experience earns its keep.
We have run development, design, and consulting teams, and we have owned finance, operations, and product. So while we build, we are already thinking about what the next phase needs, and we ask you the questions that get us there.
We have run the teams
Development, design, and consulting, plus finance, operations, and product. We know what each of them will need the moment your prototype turns into a real project.
Security and compliance
PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and how PII has to be handled. We can flag what a real build must account for before it gets expensive to retrofit.
Sales, marketing, and support
We have built marketing, sales, onboarding, and support functions. The prototype can reflect how people actually find, buy, and use the product, not just how it looks.
Integrations and platforms
We have programmed Salesforce, wired up hundreds of consumer and enterprise APIs, and built voice modules. We know what connects cleanly and what will fight you.
That is the real value. Not the prototype on its own, but a prototype built by someone who asked the right questions, so it carries cleanly into design, engineering, security, and launch.
Deliverables
What you leave with.
A clickable prototype
A working front-end you can share and click through.
A developer hand-off
What we built, translated into language your team or contractors can use to build or enhance it.
A session recording
The full working session, so nothing gets lost.
How it works
From idea to prototype in one sitting.
Book
Grab a session and send a sentence or two about the idea.
Frame the problem
We start the call by getting what’s in your head onto the screen.
Write specs together
We turn it into concrete specifications, live.
Build in Claude Code
We generate a working prototype in front of you.
Iterate live
We tweak, rearrange, and refine until it feels right.
Walk away with it
You leave with a clickable prototype, plus what we built translated into language your developers can build or enhance from.
The honest version
What this is, and what it isn’t.
What this is
- Fast. A working prototype in hours, not weeks.
- Collaborative. We build it together, in real time.
- Tangible. You click it, feel it, react to it.
- Hand-off ready. We translate what we built into language your developers can act on.
What this isn’t
- Not production-ready
- Not secure
- Not scalable
- Not bug-free or complete
- Not a replacement for engineering
Pricing
Simple: $300 an hour.
$300 an hour, with a four-hour minimum to start. After that, we bill in one-hour increments. No retainers, no lock-in.
- The smallest booking to start
- Enough to build and shape a real prototype
- You leave with a prototype + notes
- Multiple screens and real iteration
- Time to explore alternatives
- The eighth hour is on us
- Prototype + developer hand-off + recording
- Add hours to any session as needed
- Booked in one-hour blocks
- Keep iterating across sessions
Illustrative
What it feels like.
Representative examples of typical outcomes.
“We’d been arguing about the onboarding flow for a month. In a day we had two versions on screen and finally just picked one. Worth every dollar.” Founder, B2B SaaS · pre-seed
“I walked into the investor meeting with a clickable demo instead of a deck. The whole conversation changed.” Solo founder, consumer app
“Our developers stopped guessing. The prototype plus the write-up from the session meant they built the right thing the first time.” Head of Product, mid-market marketplace
FAQ
Common questions.
No. You bring the idea and the decisions. We drive the tools.
Usually Claude Code and related tools, whatever gets us to something clickable fastest.
Quite a lot. We can bring in graphics, wire up databases, and build real interactions, not just static screens. There are two limits. We won’t use paid assets unless you already hold a license for them, or you cover the cost of acquiring one. And we won’t copy another site or product verbatim, because that can run into copyright. If you want produced videos or walkthroughs, we can create those with Veo 3 and similar tools for an added cost.
You do. The prototype, the write-up we hand your developers, and the recording are yours.
No, by design. It’s a prototype to think with, not software to ship. It won’t be secure, scalable, or complete, and you shouldn’t treat it as final code.
A rough idea, plus any references or screenshots. That’s enough. We figure out the rest live.
$300 an hour, with a four-hour minimum to start, then billed in one-hour increments. We take EFT, ACH, and check, and you can even pay by credit card. Book a single session or several.
Many ideas take a couple of sessions. We stop whenever you have what you need.
